Our FILMCLUB aims to make a wide range of films available to our pupils which challenge, unite, educate, amaze and inspire. Your child will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful world of film and use the FILMCLUB website to search for films they want to watch, submit reviews and enter exciting competitions.

FILMCLUB is a government funded school activity and as part of their work they sometimes film the clubs, interview the pupils and publish video material on their website. Please give permission below in the event that this may happen. We will always show films that are suitable for your child’s age. If it is a PG film it will have been carefully vetted by us for suitability.

Films have be screened approximately fortnightly since January 2011. The club usually runs from 3.30pm till 5.30pm and there is a small charge to allow us to offer a drink and refreshments during the showing and to make a contribution towards the cost of supervision. Children must register as a FILMCLUB member and can then buy their ticket for the Friday showing on the preceding Monday and Tuesday mornings before school from 8.45 in the foyer (KS2 entrance) where the 'Box Office' is organised by children from Year 6 (they cannot be purchased at any other time or by any other means).  A learning outcome from Film Club is that the children have to support the running of Film Club and learn to be organised and work to a set deadline.  Please have the correct change as the pupils manning the Box Office have a lot of money to deal with in a short time and it helps if they don't have to organise change for a larger sum!  Notification of the next film title will be displayed in school as soon as it is available.

If you would like your child to be registered as a FILMCLUB member you will need to have completed an application form before purchasing any tickets.  These can be obtained from Mrs Lee.
