The school has an allocated nurse as part of the School Nursing Service.
Does the School Nursing Sevice operate within a defined specification? Yes.  The specification has been written by the School Nursing Service in line with the recommendations of the Department of Health and the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence using the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 years (DoH, 2009) as a guide.
What is the 'Universal Service'? This is the service that is open to every child of school age in the county.
Is there a 'bespoke' service? Individual components can be offered to children or families where a need has been identified.
Where is the Universal Service delivered? The Universal Service is delivered on school premises.
